Kale and Berries Breakfast Smoothie

I eat this every morning because it’s quick, easy, and healthy. The berries provide a bunch of antioxidants, the kale packs in the nutrients, and the almonds give it a nice crunch and added protein!


  • 1 banana, broken into chunks
  • ½ cup mixed frozen berries
  • ½ cup shredded kale
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 10 almonds (Optional)


Place banana, berries, kale, orange juice, water, yogurt, and almonds into a blender. Cover and puree until smooth, 20 to 30 seconds.
